Email List Validation (“ELV”, “we”, “us”) provides email verification services through emaillistvalidation.com and app.emaillistvalidation.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. 1. Data we collect

Account data. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and billing details. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we never store full card numbers.

Uploaded lists. The email addresses you submit for verification are processed solely to deliver verification results back to you. Your lists are never sold, shared, rented, or used to build marketing databases — yours stay yours.

Usage data. We collect standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to operate, secure, and improve the service.

2. How we use data

• To perform the verification services you request
• To operate your account, billing, and support
• To secure the platform against abuse and fraud
• To improve verification accuracy and product features
• To send service communications (you can opt out of marketing ones)

3. How we protect data

Data in transit is secured with 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. Uploaded lists are encrypted at rest, retained only as long as needed to provide the service, and access is restricted to authorized personnel with login credentials. You can delete your lists and verification results from your dashboard at any time, and account deletion removes your data from our production systems.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with the subprocessors required to run the service (hosting, payments, support tooling), each bound by data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data when required by law.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, export, restrict, and erase your personal data, and to object to processing. ELV acts as a processor for the lists you upload and as a controller for your account data. The marketing site uses only essential cookies. The application uses cookies required for authentication and session management.
